Serving as a local champion for future generations of writers, 826 Dallas Project exists to motivate, empower, and uplift youth in the Dallas community to use their voice and share their stories with the world.
Made up of a coalition of local Dallas youth-serving organizations convened by the University of North Texas at Dallas, 826 Dallas Project is working with the support of 826 National to build a chapter of their acclaimed networking from the ground up. 826 Dallas Project is a fiscally-sponsored project of UNT Dallas Foundation.

The Secret World of Monsters is a delightful journey into the enchanting realm of mythical creatures, meticulously crafted with imagination and flair by the talented first and second graders from Dr. Elba and Domingo Garcia West Dallas STEM School. This captivating anthology offers a unique glimpse into a world where the extraordinary becomes everyday reality, all through the vivid and imaginative perspectives of young minds.
The book unfolds in two engaging chapters, each a testament to the boundless creativity of these young authors and artists. The first chapter delves into the lives and adventures of fantastical monsters, brought to life with colorful illustrations and heartfelt storytelling.
